AONACH MHACHA

D'iarr Aonach Mhacha orainn tabhairt faoi 3 phíosa ar leith oibre, comhairliúchán poiblí le páirtithe leasmhara na Gaeilge in Ard Mhacha, foirm iarratais £100K maoinithe a líonadh amach agus iarluacháil nó PPE a dhéanamh ar thionscadal Aonach Mhacha.

"Léirigh Barr Feabhais Teo. tuiscint an-mhaith ar an obair a bhí le déanamh.  Bhí a gcur chuige cumarsáide go hiontach ar fad mar a bhí caighdeán a gcuid oibre. Bhí sé ina fhaoiseamh bheith ag plé le comhlacht a thuigeann Gaeilge agus saol na Gaeilge. Mholfainn Barr Feabhais Teo. d'aon dream pobail",

Gearóid Ó Machail, Bainisteoir Aonach Mhacha.

Aonach Mhacha asked us to undertake 3 separate pieces of work, a public consultation with Irish language stakeholders in Armagh, to complete a funding application for £100K and to complete a Post-project Evaluation of the Aonach Mhacha project.

"Barr Feabhais Limited showed an in-depth understanding of the work we asked them to do.  Their communication style was excellent as was their standard of work. It was a real relief to work with a company that understands Irish and the Irish language community.  I would happily recommend Barr Feabhais Limited to any community group".

BUNSCOIL MHIC REACHTAIN

Forbairt ghairmiúil i múnlú ⁊ i saibhriú teanga

Professional development - Irish language modelling & enrichment

Barr Feabhais Pic.png

D'iarr Príomhoide Bhunscoil Mhic Reachtain (Tuaisceart Bhéal Feirste) orainn oiliúint faoi leith a shaindhearadh d'fhoireann teagaisc na scoile chun barr feabhais a chur ar a gcuid Gaeilge agus chun achoimriú a dhéanamh daofa ar na leasuithe atá déanta in Gramadach na Gaeilge, An Caighdeán Oifigiúil (2017) ar chaighdeán na Gaeilge.

"Reáchtáil an Dr. Ó Duibh as Barr Feabhais Teo. 8 seisiún oiliúna ar líne inár pléadh earráidí coitianta sa Ghaeilge, saibhreas teanga agus foghraíocht na Gaeilge.  Thug an fhoireann aiseolas ar dóigh ar gach seisiún. Bhí Mícheál in ann castachtaí teanga a mhíniú go cruinn. Thug sé Gaeilge nádúrtha na Gaeltachta isteach sa scoil agus beidh a eolas le leas na ndaltaí.  Molaim do ghaelscoileanna eile Mícheál a thabhairt isteach ar mhaithe leis na páistí - líonann sé bearnaí a mbíonn príomhoidí ag caint orthu. Is é an trua nár tugadh Mícheál isteach roimhe seo."

An Dr Séamas Ó Donnghaile, Príomhoide Bhunscoil Mhic Reachtain.

BAYSIDE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Aistriúchán/Translation

Barr Feabhais Pic.png

Deirdre Miller of Bayside Community Association contacted us looking for an Irish translation of the English script on their heritage sign which they wanted to erect as part of Heritage Week.

Rinne Deirdre Miller ó Bayside Community Association teagmháil linn agus leagan Gaeilge á lorg aici den Bhéarla a bhí ar an chomhartha a bhí siad ag iarraidh a chur suas mar chuid de Sheachtain na hOidhreachta.

"As a person who is fluent in a number of languages I understand the importance of getting things right and also am only too aware of the many poor attempts there are in Dublin when it comes to Irish language signage.  This is why I immediately thought of Micheál when I wanted an Irish language translation of the English on our sign.  I knew that the Irish would be rich and right.  Micheál has the ability to do more than just translate words from one language into words in another language – Google can do that.  What impresses time and time again is his ability to also capture the style and tone of the original text so that the translation truly reflects what the original author was trying to convey. His breadth of knowledge and skill as a writer in both English and Irish means that literally nothing is lost in translation.  I have no hesitation in recommending Barr Feabhais Limited for translating services",
